Principal’s Report:

  • Handout reviewed: Tuition Report; it was noted that these are difficult financial times for families losing jobs or trying to make ends meet, and there is still some assistance available for those who qualify.

  • The contract to phoenixnetworks will be offered, and prorated until the end of the fiscal year.

A representative from the archdiocese has reviewed and suggested changes to the curriculum, to help teachers emphasize the most important topics, which may not always based on the textbook.

Policy Committee: A discussion between a parent and Miss Gearon led to a proposal at this meeting of an Observation Day once a year, where parents can sit in on a class. This will be suggested to the faculty.

Public Relations / Marketing Committee: None.

Old Business: None.

New Business:

  • A suggestion was made to modify incentives for the Spell-a-Thon. For example, an incentive reward could be given to all who collect over a certain dollar amount. Ticket drawings could remain or be reduced. This suggestion will be given to the Spell-a-Thon committee.

Meeting adjourned at 9:30 with a prayer by Father Jack.
