PASTOR’S REPORT:

• Father raised a question concerning our policies on students with special needs; we will review the policies and come back to this at a later meeting

PSR REPORT: None

PRINCIPAL’S REPORT:

• Tuition tracking was discussed
• There is a new format in place to track matching gift funds
• We have $17,971 in matching gift funds that exceed our budgeted $15,000 amount
• Student Council has been raising funds for Smart Boards for the classrooms; these funds along with several private donations made recently will allow for the purchase of 2 Smart Boards
• No update on school nurse program
• School Improvement document is complete; February 21-22 is the site visit
• Preschool program will possibly offer all day services next year
• The Advancement Council update meeting will be held tomorrow evening

POLICY: None

FINANCE:

• Registration will be on January 25th
• No school town hall meeting will be held
• There is a meeting on January 17th for St. Martin de Porres parents

MARKETING:

• Marketing committee met to discuss promotion of the Catholic Schools Week Open House
• Address labels need to be printed for the flyers/invitations using Fall Festival addresses
• Discussion was held regarding setting tuition earlier in the year but this is difficult due to final salary and benefit information
• Possible marketing ideas were discussed including: flyers at Fish Fry, more Suburban Journal articles, St. Louis Review articles, having building clean for Open House, yard signs, and creation of a DVD that could be broadcast
• Next Marketing meeting is Thursday at 7 pm

NEW BUSINESS:

• Policies related to keeping students off of proxy servers
