Registration Information
|
| Everything you need to know about registering your child for St. Ferdinand School. |
Registration for the next school year begins in late January or early February. Currently enrolled families are offered an opportunity to register during an early enrollment period. Following this period of time, Open Enrollment begins. During Open Enrollment, new families may begin the registration process. There are a series of forms to complete and often times an interview with the principal is scheduled.
The following list details the items that must be on file in the school office to finalize the registration process:
- Completed registration forms.
- Copy of the student's Baptismal Certificate, if Catholic.
- Copy of the student's Birth Certificate.
- Copy of the student's up-to-date Immunization Record.
- All new students and students entering kindergarten, third, and sixth grade are required to have a current Physical Examination and documentation of this must be submitted to the school office.
- If the child's parents have a legal custody arrangement then a copy of this court decree is required.
- If the child has a significant, life-threatening medical condition, a plan from the physician regarding care and treatment in the school setting is required.
- If the child has a diagnosed special learning need, a copy of the service learning plan and all other pertinent documentation from the diagnosing agency is required.
Saint Ferdinand welcomes inquiries from families who have a desire to seek the unique type of learning experience offered in a Catholic Preschool and/or Elementary School. If, however, the family is Catholic and lives within the boundaries of another Catholic parish, a release from the pastor of the parish of residence is also required.
Families may access the most recently used registration forms through the forms section of this website or by calling the School Office to request an information packet. These forms are updated annually and the most current version will be available through the school office once the Open Enrollment period has begun.
Families are encouraged to read the admission policy found in the Family Handbook. You can access that handbook by clicking here:
