| General information about St. Ferdinand School. |
Saint Ferdinand Catholic School is a parish elementary school located in Florissant, Missouri. We are a part of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis and we have both a Preschool and Elementary school on our campus. Our school programs are rooted in Gospel values and we seek to help our students know and embrace the love of Christ made known through sacred scripture.
- PRESCHOOL:
- Our Preschool serves children who are three as of August 1st in the year of registration and children who are four as of August 1st in the year of registration. Our program for three year olds is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The four year old program is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. With sufficient enrollment, we open an afternoon session of each program. The afternoon sessions run on the same days based on the age of the children, however, the time is from 11:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
- Our preschool students are involved in a variety of activities and learning experiences and we see our two year program as a foundation building approach that prepares our students to enter Kindergarten poised for success.
- ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
- Our Elementary School serves children in grades kindergarten through eighth. We offer an enriching, faith-based education focused on assisting the parents of our students as they care for and nurture the children God has entrusted to their care.
- We value each student as an individual and seek out ways to meet the spiritual and educational needs of each child and his/her family.
- Our school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. Our day centers around achieving high academic standards through prayerful study. We offer an enriching academic program and a variety of extra-curricular activities.
- Our kindergarten program offers parents the option of choosing between a half-day and a full-day program. The administration and the kindergarten teachers are available for consultation as parents enter into this decision making process.
Families are encouraged to contact our principal for more details regarding our school. The school phone number is (314) 921 - 2201 or you can email her at missgearon@stferd.com.
