As the second quarter begins the students in the upper grades will be working on spreadsheets and learning how to insert formulas into the spreadsheet to calculate their work. Some of the students have been amazed how the computer can calculate the problems for them.

The first graders our learning to use the Open Office Draw program by making Halloween Pictures. The second graders are finishing up stories about "Flying Goldfish" and they were able to insert a picture behind their stories. The fourth graders are researching animals for a PowerPoint presentation that they will complete in class. They will then take that information and write a written report for their science class.
