The Second Grade students are preparing for the St. Louis Archdiocesan Music Festival on March 13, 2008. The Music Festival this year is for First and Second Graders throughout the Archdiocese. Our students will be performing two songs at the festival.

March will be the time the Third Grade students will begin playing the recorders. They have been working on learning the names of the notes of the Treble Clef. They are all very anxious to begin playing the recorder.

Some of the Fifth Grade students have been giving up their recesses to practice playing the Tone Bells. They have been playing Amazing Grace at mass during lent and they will also be playing Beyond The Days in the next week. The students really enjoy getting the opportunity to perform.

Our Spring Program is coming quickly and the students will begin practicing for that in the next few weeks. This program is for the Preschool, Kindergarten, Second, Fourth, Sixth and Eighth Grades.
