March-April Activities in Homeroom 3B
March activities

Third grade is happy to report they are busily working in third quarter. We are continuing to strive to share our light with the world by showing mercy to others and striving to be pure and holy.

We have begun our 4th unit in our reading series. The last story emphasized community and getting along with others. We really enjoyed this story. We are also learning to figure out unfamiliar words by using context clues. This has been somewhat of a challenge for us, but Ms. Vaughn continues to reassure us. It will get easier.

In Math we have begun division. We are putting those multiplication facts to the test. We are also learning that multiplication and division relate. It is very exciting, and we enjoy math.

In Science we are studying the solar system. We have learned all nine planets names, what they are made of, and how many rings and moons each planet has. We will also learn about the seasons and how the earth's tilt on its axis affects the seasons.

Our next mass will be April 9, 2008.
