We are so excited about the 2007-2008 school year.
Both fourth grade classes just finished planting their bean plants on Thursday, September 6. The first science test over Chapter 1 will be on Thursday, September 13. ( A study guide will be sent home on Tuesday, September 11.)

We are reviewing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in math. We are also going over measurement and basic geometry.

PLEASE CONTINUE PRACTICING THOSE BASIC FACTS AT HOME.

We are really enjoying our new reading series. The stories are very interesting and we'll be doing many different activities related to the stories we're covering.

We are just completing Chapter 2 in religion, which covers the Beatitudes. We've truly enjoyed our discussions about how we can live our lives following the beautiful message of each Beatitude. This also goes along with our theme for this school year.

In English we're working on the four types of sentences and are moving into subjects and predicates.

Everyone is working so hard and we're all looking forward to a wonderful year.
