Wow, it is hard to believe we are already in November. First quarter ended, conferences took place, and we are getting ready for our D.A.R.E. Graduation. We are also getting ready for the Advent Program. So much to do in such a short amount of time.
Our pets are doing fine. We have added a third fish, Mr. Hanley, to our tank. It is fun and relaxing to watch the fish swim around. The children are taking good care of the fish. Feeding time is always fun to watch.
Progress reports are coming out November 21. Be sure to check your child's folder for them. Please sign and return a copy of the progress report as soon as possible.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner. We have so many things to be thankful for. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful class with outstanding parents. Teaching is so much fun when there is cooperation with students and parents.
The Joyful Mysteries are the mysteries we are concentrating on this quarter. We are gaining a deeper understanding of the rosary.
Our next book report is due December 12. We are creating them on the computer and later showing them on the Promethean Board.
Our electives have finally started. We are having so much fun learning about various topics.
Happy Thanksgiving from Homeroom 5H!
