We are back! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that your New Year is terrific!

Returning to school from our break, refreshed and ready to work, we began this new year by taking the ACRE religion assessment. This assessment determines how much the student remembers from their religion classes over a period of time.

We are discussing the ecosystem, how things get energy, the food web, etc. in science. Our environment is an important subject in reading also. God gave us our earth. It's up to us to keep it healthy.

Explorers are the main topics in social studies. We are reading about their travels and their discoveries. In math we are being challenged with long division; and in English, we are studying verbs and verb usuage.

As you can see, we are back in the swing of things - working very hard.
