Hello from Mrs. Kreitner and Homeroom KW!

In December we have been very busy. This is just a taste of what we’ve been creating and learning in class.

In religion, we are preparing for Jesus’ birthday. We are very excited about the season of Advent. We are gathering daily to pray around the prayer table, and share our Advent prayer book.

In reading we are really learning to read. We are having a class play every week, and having a lot of fun reading. We are also learning our sight words. We play a game called "Beat the Teacher". This is a game of who knows their sight words faster. The students really enjoy this game. The score is 14-1. The students have the 14!

In math we are learning our numbers, numbers words, and the value of these numbers. We are also learning to count money.

Overall, we are really learning and having a lot of fun. We hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
