We have been very busy in Kindergarten this month. We are excited about all of the different skills we have been learning.
In religion, we have been talking about all of the animals that God created, and we have learned some new songs and poems. We enjoyed the Pet Blessing after school.
In reading, we are working on Letterbook L. We have made leaf rubbings, a leaf wreath, and we have been reading some new words on our own. We are very excited about this!
In math, we have been working on creating and naming many different patterns. We love to use the unifix cubes and make up our own patterns.
We really enjoyed our field trip to the pumpkin farm. We all had a lot of fun!
We are getting ready for our fundraiser, The Spell-A-Thon. We are practicing our words that we have to know. We are excited about knowing how to read them.
October has been a busy month. There is definitely a lot of learning going on in the classroom. Happy fall and enjoy all the beautiful leaves.
See you in November!
