We are happily preparing for Jesus' birthday. We are bringing joy to the world with prayers and good deeds. Each day we read a prayer and add a sticker to our classroom model of Bethlehem. We are doing good deeds too. We are keeping track of both by adding a P for prayers and an X for good deeds to form a chi-ro decoration as a gift for Jesus!

There are special feast days in December. On December 5 we celebrated St. Nicholas Day. We received a candy cane from St. Nicholas when he visited our classroom. We heard his story from his helper. On December 8 everyone celebrated this Holy Day by attending Mass. We remember, on that day, that Mary was conceived without sin. On December 12 we read the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Everyone felt Juan Diego was very brave!

We want to wish everyone a happy Advent which will lead to a very blessed Christmas!
