First Reconciliation
Jesus gives us a new heart!

After preparing for this special sacrament, the day was finally here! Last Wednesday evening, we received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. Our "little people" waited patiently to be turned from sad faced to happy faced. Later there were many celebrations.

The Thursday after Reconciliation, we had a classroom celebration with cards from our prayer partners and delicious cookies. We also wrote our thoughts on this wonderful sacrament that brings us back to Jesus. Here is a sample of some of our thoughts.

My First Reconciliation
First, we went to find our seats. Next, father talked to us. Then, we said the Act of Sorrow. Last, we went to McDonald's to eat Big Macs and celebrate.

My First Reconciliation
First, we went in church and sang songs. Next, we listened to the homily. Then, we went to confession. Last, I went home and watched some T.V.

My First Reconciliation
First, I went to the candles to say a prayer. Then, I sang songs. Next, I went to Father. Last, I went home to celebrate with my family.

My First Reconciliation
First, we got ready to go. Next we sat down. Then, we talked to Father and turned our person around and prayed to God. Last, we got McDonalds.

My First Reconciliation
First, I went to Reconciliation. Next, I sat down and sang a song. Then, I felt happy after I talked to the priest. Last, I got pizza with my sister and my sister's boyfriend, and my mom and dad.

Now we are beginning to preapre for our next sacrament, Holy Eucharist. Please pray for us!
