Leaves Fall in October

Welcome to the cool Fall temperatures. The students all need to make sure they have a jacket, in addition to their sweatshirts due to the chilly mornings. We have a busy October filled with excitement and academic work.

The seventh grade is sponsoring a canned good drive, and they appreciate all donations. This collection is for T.E.A.M.(The Ecumenical Assistance Ministry) located in our community.

We are also looking forward to Archbishop Carlson visiting our Deanery on Thursday, October 15, 2009. This event is at the Eagan Civic Center. Check in with me for an out of uniform day coupon.

The first quarter closes on October 14, 2009. We are looking forward to our conferences on October 29, 2009.

The seventh grade students are starting Chapter 5 in Religion. They will study the Infancy Narratives.

In English class, the students will start Chapter 1 titled Sentences and Its Parts.

In Literature we will look at nonfiction stories. The class will take a close look at the biography of Eleanor Roosevelt.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween.
