Cold, Sleet, Ice, Snow, and Christmas

Happy winter to everyone as we hurry through the month of December. Seventh grade has been preparing for the arrival of Baby Jesus with prayers and good deeds. The class is putting on the finishing touches to the angel ornaments that will be given to the residents of BentWood Nursing Home, on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. You see, the seventh grade completes the G.R.E.A.T. Program , which means Gang Resistance Education and Training that day, and wanted to do a community project. The class will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and gifts with the residents.

On December 19th, the class will also be involved in the Advent Concert. On that day the students will have a chance to invite Grandparents or Special Guests to the concert. There will be an evening performance at 7:00 P.M.

The students will have a half day of school on December 21, 2007, and they will then start their Christmas vacation. Our hope and wish is that everyone have a Blessed and Holy Christmas Season. May your New Year be filled with the Spirit of Love.

Blessings,

Mrs. Heredia and the Seventh Grade
