We have been very busy in room Q preparing for Christmas! We made Advent calendars to help us count down the days until Jesus’ birthday. We are also doing a play called The Christmas Story. Each student has a part in the play. Ask your child what part they are playing. The children are very excited about performing the play for their sixth grade buddies. This month each student also wrote a song called The Five Days of Christmas. The children really liked this writing activity. They will be bringing home their songs on Friday to share with you. Finally, each student in the class has a secret Advent partner. The children have been having fun making surprises for their Advent partners. The children will find out who their Advent Partners are on December 18.

I know all of the children are excited about Santa Clause coming and Jesus’ birthday. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
