Welcome back! I'm so happy to be starting year number two at St. Ferdinand with another wonderful group of sixth graders. We're already fast at work with a few new things:

Students are going to be receiving their bibles at our next all-school Mass on Friday, August 29th. They are excited to be receiving them and look forward to learning more about God's word!

In just a few short weeks, we will be beginning our first novel study - Where the Red Fern Grows. This classic will surely become a favorite of the class!

Spanish class started August 25th! Already students are buzzing about the opportunity to learn a new language. We look forward to discovering more about different Spanish-speaking cultures as students learn the language.

Finally, students are asked to bring in their rosaries on Fridays, as we will be praying with parishoners after 8:30am Mass. This is a wonderful opportunity for the school community to develop and foster a love for this devotion. All parents are invited to pray along with us!
